Oh, I love the turn of this--from Viggo, frustrated at being alone, again, hugers assuaged but not satisfied, to Sean, still there and satisfying his own hunger. And the shift from one hunger to another is gorgeously done. Of course, now I want sesame chicken for lunch. *grin*
Everytime I read one of your fics, I want to beg you to write more--you do such wonderful things with words and characters, yet so seldom! *hugs*

I wasn't really happy with the title of this story ("Waking" is far too close to "Waking Dreams", a LotR FPS story I wrote a while ago), and you twigged exactly the right word in my head with your comment, and I've changed it to match. *hugs*
Of course, now I want sesame chicken for lunch. *grin* Hee. Send the check to savageseraph, as she chose the dish. I wanted to use ginger beef, since that's one of my favourites, but I've lately become aware that it's a dish specific to Western Canada, so... *shrug* Hmm. I think I could also use some sesame chicken myself.

This piece has an extraordinary feeling to itself, very focused on describing emotional situations thorough physical sensations.
The reader really gets a sense of something I personally find quite often in Viggo's photograpy and poetry: find the extraordinary within the ordinary.
Not that Sean Bean eating a midnight snack in your kitchen while he is stark-naked is an ordinary experience but you know what I mean, right? ;)
Oh, Tessy, you always have the most amazing things to say. Thank you so much! (And I love the reference to Viggo's photography -- it's probably my favourite of his artistic leanings, and the idea that the fic may mirror the themes of his photos in some small way... Thank you. *beams*)
Not that Sean Bean eating a midnight snack in your kitchen while he is stark-naked is an ordinary experience but you know what I mean, right? ;) Hee. I do. And really, I think that it's high time Sean put some effort into making it an ordinary experience -- he should start popping 'round to fans' homes and snacking in the middle of the night sans clothes. It's only fair. ^_~
Thank you so much for the wonderful, thoughtful feedback. *hugs*
*G* Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and given that I spent far, far less time on this one than I usually do on anything I write, I'm thrilled the imagery and everything came through.
Didn't a refrigerator play some sort of major role in an earlier fic of yours, I seem to remember???????? ^_^ Are you trying to imply that I'm obsessing over fridges? ...Er, yes, there was another, but that one came with a TV embedded in it. You're thinking of Game's On. ^_~
That is an incredible line! I whooped when I read it. *G* Thank you! That's really quite gratifying to hear. ^_^
If only I could get up in the middle of the night and find Beanie raiding my fridge... :sigh: *sigh* I know what you mean. And I even had leftover Chinese in there the other day! *shaking head*
What I can't work out though is why I've not yet friended you. So I have now. Hope that is ok! Hee. It's perfectly ok. And I've Friended you back in turn. *G* Thanks again for the very lovely feedback!
Aside from the obvious pleasure of finding a nekkid and peckish *cackle* Bean in his kitchen, I hope this means Sean's starting to feel like staying around a bit, instead of always just taking off. *pets Vig*
Hm, I hope Sean doesn't catch a chill standing so near the 'fridge... heh.
