*G* Thanks, Kris! I wasn't really happy with the title of this story ("Waking" is far too close to "Waking Dreams", a LotR FPS story I wrote a while ago), and you twigged exactly the right word in my head with your comment, and I've changed it to match. *hugs*
Of course, now I want sesame chicken for lunch. *grin*
Hee. Send the check to savageseraph, as she chose the dish. I wanted to use ginger beef, since that's one of my favourites, but I've lately become aware that it's a dish specific to Western Canada, so... *shrug* Hmm. I think I could also use some sesame chicken myself.
Everytime I read one of your fics, I want to beg you to write more--you do such wonderful things with words and characters, yet so seldom! *hugs*
You are an absolute sweetheart, and so, so flattering. *hugs tight* Believe me, if I could, I'd write far, far more often, but time, circumstance, and inspiration/editing almost always conspire against me. I have entirely too many unfinished fics waiting for their turns. *hangs head* I wanted to post at least one or two fics a month this year, but so far I've been falling completely down on that resolution. *sigh* Damn.
But that's neither here nor there. More importantly, thank you for the very lovely feedback, Kris! ^_^ I'm so glad you liked my little story.
