A/N: yeah.. don't ask me what i was on, i'm not really sure. this is like, crackish fail, and totally one of the worst things i've written. but yay, other crossover! (:
Woohyun never expected to hear his voice on the other line when he picked up the phone that day. In fact, he didn’t even know that he knew about their existence. So when Key told him that his members were busy with whatever they were doing and asked if he wanted to hang out with him, he was pleasantly surprised.
It wasn’t new news that Key was close friends with all the ’91 line idols like himself, but Woohyun’s idea of getting close did not involve Key showing up at his dorm a couple minutes later with a bunch of bags in his arms (And it also did not involve him squealing secretly about how much more gorgeous the other idol looks in person).
“Woohyun ah, right? Kibum, but call me Key. Heard you can cook.”
And Woohyun doesn’t even know what to think of this boy because the next thing he knows, Kibum, no, Key, was inviting himself in and heading towards the kitchen.
“I figured a house of 7 guys and your manager probably won’t have a lot of good stuff. So I brought some over. Let’s have a cooking competition.”
“I’m going to win you know.”
“Yah, I’m just hoping that you don’t be too upset when you lose.”
Lose? Pshht. Woohyun knows that he won’t lose. He’s quite confident with his cooking, even if he is always secretly afraid that people won’t like what he made them.
“So, how are we going to get this judged?”
“Some of your members are home right?” Key replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Woohyun nodded, “but won’t they be biased?”
“Hardly. I’m their sunbae you know. But we can always ask them without telling them which one is whos if you’re that worried.”
“It’s on.”
Woohyun decided that since it was his members that were going to be the judges; he would treat them a little better and make them meat. Pork stew to be exact. Endless days of nagging for meat would be over and he would win. It was a simple win-win situation, and totally not against the rules. After all, Key did say that he could make anything.
He glanced over at Key a few times while they were cooking and he looked a bit... suspicious (or just crazily hot, either one). Woohyun chose to ignore the part of his brain that was making him unable to focus around Key (with his pink apron and dark clothes he’s sure he would look better without), and just continued cooking, Key being suspicious or not.
About an hour and a bunch of dirty thoughts later, Sungjong and Myungsoo were called to judge (well, actually, it was more like Sungjong excitedly offered and forced Myungsoo into doing it too.)
The two dishes were set in front of them, and revealed to be...
Pork stew and kimchi pork stew.
Kimchi pork stew that looked strangely like his pork stew. What was his pork stew doing in Key’s dish?!
Before Woohyun had a chance to say anything, Sungjong had already taste tested them both and was attempting to feed Myungsoo. And both agreed that they liked the kimchi one better.
Woohyun looked over at Key again for what seemed like 100th time this hour to find Key smiling innocently. Innocent his butt. He just stole his pork stew and put kimchi in it! And he won for it? That was hardly fair.
“Aish, you’re so cute when you’re staring at me like that. I told you not to be too upset when you lost. Now for your punishment...”
“Punishment? What punishment? You cheated and I have to get a punishment?”
“A game is never fun without a punishment.” Key replied as he walked towards Woohyun, causing him back up until he was uncomfortably wedged in between Key’s body and the kitchen counter. And he kept leaning closer and closer and closer until...
“Aigoo, look at the time. Minho and Taem must be home now.”
And just like how he came, he left. Leaving poor Woohyun there all by himself: confused, disappointed, and embarrassed.
The next day, Key shows up at their door again, unexpected, holding a bowl in his hands.
“I don’t do this very often, but let’s play fair this time.”
And there’s a lot of things that Woohyun would never have expected. But above it all, he never would have expected that this would be the way their beautiful friendship (he swears that they are just friends and there’s no way that he would ever like him) would have started.
