Well, I found a listing that is willing to work with my schedule, FINALLY! It's as an "Office Aide" in the Human Resources Department. Which is basically gopher work, but whatever. Hopefully it goes through. We'll see.

As for my niece, I found out that it's not actually melanoma. The doctor WANTED it to be melanoma so he could figure out what it was. It is actually a super-rare form of cancer that the doctor said he didn't believe because it only effects 300 people in the world, and of those 300 people, none of them have had it show up anywhere except the trunk of their body, which makes my niece a SUPER special rare kind of cancer. I have no idea what it's called, but I looked it up when I remembered the name... There's almost no information on it because it is so rare. The doctor said she'd have to go in and have at least two more surgeries to find all the cancer and do a billion tests to see if it hasn't spread to some other parts of her body. THEN there's the cosmetic skin-grafts to fix the giant scars. Not to mention she's not allowed to use her hand to write or type for at least another six months, making her school work a tiny bit difficult. Of course, her doctor wrote out a note explaining everything, but still.

Sigh. I'm off to give the office aide application back to Human Resources, and then I'm going to head home. I have a feeling I'm going to be needed there for a few days. But of course, I'm going to have to come back sunday.

school, unpleasantness
