My boyfriend has a brand new Mitsubishi Outlander, and our weather here is freezing. Today his shifter, and then his e-brake, locked up due (I think) to weather. I suggested he stop using the e-brake until the weather is a bit warmer, but in the meantime, any suggestions for unlocking it? He's mobile now, so this is for future reference. I have a 2004 Chevrolet Epica that I have owned for two years. When I first got it I had to have my O2 sensors replaced... twice in the first two months. Last December I had a problem with, what I thought was the throttle body. You guys have been so helpful I just thought I would let you know. Less than a month after getting new tires and all new belts my beloved Pathfinder finally gave up. After making a turn onto a small side street it made a terrible noise, the RPM hand revved really high and then it started to make a whine noise.
