(no subject)
So I’m home…
I know I’m a little slow with that announcement but up until recently fighting the main computer to post was hell in of itself and I couldn’t stand it. Since Neel and Nik put more ram back in it (I really don’t understand the logic of this guy that help my parents but we’ll get to that later) it’s a little bit better.
Nonetheless if you are posting I am reading but on my computer on wireless I cannot respond. Its not lack of love- its lack of ability(and unless its really serious I won't fight this computer to say two lines). If you really miss my notes so very much, though, I’ll write them and send them through email or hunt you down on aim.
But here’s an over view.
The last day of finals was hell. It was both my double final day and the day I had to move out so you can understand. I got up at 6:10am, snagged a espresso, and ran around looking for blue books. Barrowed a blue book from my roommate, went to take an exam, had to go and get another blue book (<3 Kingstreet Bookstore who gave them to the slackers for free!), came back, took three hour exam and left. Put book in the library, moved out with help from parents and Kurt, went to next exam, studied, took next exam, wrote six five paragraph essays in an hour, finally ate, checked out, and went home. Soo not fun.
I took a few days off then spent the next week sending out my resume and attempting to get a job. So far no luck.
Recently was stressed out by Tanni who told me there was a $3,000 increase in dorm fees but, luckily, that was later to be found out to be both the dorm fees and the meal plan.
In other, long term news, I now have five bookcases. Yes, I skipped having just four and went to five. I’m almost done organizing but had to take a break after pulling some lovely muscles in my neck who say, “Oh Hell no.”
There will be pictures. I actually have space to grow my lovely collection. Speaking of: Ashley I need my fantasy and horror anthology book.
And Ben I need my CD’s back. If the ones that were bought, and they are very obviously so because of the colors of them, are very scratched (My Lorrena Mckennit and Nightwish ones) I’ll have to ask you to pay me back for them because I just got those last summer and they were practically meant when I let you barrow them. I may harass you if they are not att Animazement.
On that note I will likewise be offering a few free books, first come first serve, and the like soon. I meant to have this out last week but I’m still not done going through my junk. There’s not much, and most of it I can’t imagine someone wanting, but if you live near by you can have whatever you want for free (including the pink tissue dress!). If you live far away the only cost is shipping.
I need to stop being so lazy. I wish I could just go to some place where I’m not so distracted but I doubt that’s going to happen.
Hmm…oh yeah. John helped me with my newest bookcase (after stealing my brothers from the attic proved to not be enough) and Neel and Nik added ram to a computer that should have already had it. The person that “fixed” my mom and dad’s desktop boggles my mind. I kept telling him to just listen to me but nooo. At least now I can pull people over who can do the things I can’t (get inside the comp) and have them fix it so they see results and stop flipping out.
Both things I’m rather pleased about.
And! I don’t have cancer. :D We got this re-checked out at a skin cancer thing (three hours waiting in a waiting room) and pretty much the guy just really liked my super pale looking skin with dark hair. Its amusing in a “That creepy old guy keeps looking me over in a slightly sleazy way…thank god for this swimsuit.” Way.
Let see…. Lets see… what else.
Ah, finally I’m wanting to whip out a voodoo doll for my history teacher. I’ll spare you the details for the moment but that’s it.
Oh: Animazement is not this weekend but next weekend. If you’re going, going to meet me there, I’d love to know. (Greensboro people- want to come visit for lunch? You don’t have to stay with the crazies if you don’t want to. I won’t be able to leave, though, because I still lack the ability to drive).
