I went swimming today for the first time in over a year. I went with Nick's aunt over to her friend's house. I put on 45 SPF several times throughout the day, but I still look like a lobster.
I'm starting to get incredibly frustrated with finding a job. I keep getting really close to being hired, but it always comes down to me and one other person and they chose the other person. My hand feels like it's going to fall off from all the applications I've filled out. I finally went to a temp agency this week. I should hopefully hear something from them tomorrow about an office assistant position. I have no idea what the pay will be though. Give me two more weeks of this and I'm hitting the fast food places for a job. Keep your fingers crossed for me people, I need all the help I can get even if it's just superstition.
To top it all off I'm getting really lonely too. Nick's job has been having him go to Virginia for the last three weeks. He comes home on the weekend, but that's just not enough. He'll probably be going to Greenville for the next two weeks, and they are most likely not going to be able to come home on the weekend if they go there.
