A Scandal in Belgravia
Still in slightly shell-shocked mode. Stephen Moffat scripts tend to do this to me whether they be Doctor Who or Sherlock! From the initial diffusion of the poolside situation that was the climax to the first series, to The Woman's last moment onscreen, Lara Pulver's portrayal of Irene Adler was every bit as exciting as promised. She was indeed the woman who beat Sherlock Holmes. Literally. Need to watch the episode again to savour delicious details missed due to sheer speed of dialogue and action. Whilst I continue to cogitate and digest all the fun allusions to canon, nods to fandom, etc, I'll just throw down one of many enduring images for further contemplation...
