Yet I'm not really tempted. There have been so many versions over the decades I have no desire to see any more. Of course it's available in 3D, but that's a thing I have no particular wish to experience. New films often seem over-colourful to me these days, without the necessity to further assault the eyeballs! All that sharpness and vibrancy can stop a supposedly period film looking period. One of the reasons I enjoyed TTSS so much was for its muted shady tones. Sometimes I actually long for the simplicity of monochrome. :-)
So, sorry Musketeers. It might be 'one for all', but it's not for this one. In order to supply anachronistic silliness there is enough to satisfy already with the latest series of Merlin on the BBC, whilst awaiting Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes sequel at the end of the year.
