I'm starting a meme.
The assignment: Using ONLY 100 words, tell us what beauty is to you.
The rules: You may not use any size descriptors unless describing something intangible; you MUST use joyful words in your description; you MUST link back to the journal you got the Beauty100 meme from; you may not use words for body parts unless a. describing with joy a typically hated female body part, or b. describing something other than that body part; when you post this on your own journal, you MUST choose three descriptive words that everyone linking to your journal must put work into their own Beauty100. These words do not have to be from your own Beauty100.

My Beauty100:
Beauty is a the result of a certain intangible character of mind. It comes not from thinness, or how much makeup you wear, or anything else that is determined by how much you can appeal to men, but from the strength that lies inside women’s eyes; it is the strength of the will that would not be crushed; of the self that would not be dissociated; of the voice who, though interrogated, persecuted and ridiculed, would not be silenced. It is the interminable, incorrigible, undying beauty of women who have survived despite everything the Patriarchy had to throw at them.
