Geographical Conundrums 56!

Here are some amusing questions about the high and low points of countries. Enjoy!

1. (The question: medium-hard). The country with the highest low point (1400 m, at the confluence of two rivers) is not one I'd have readily guessed. But it makes sense in retrospect -- like almost all of the countries near the top of this particular list, it's small. (Fun fact/hint: the name of the country's high point, Thabana Ntlenyana, means "beautiful little mountain" in the local language.)

2a. (Medium-easy). The country with the lowest high point was long thought to be this low-lying island country, whose *average* elevation is 31 inches. This was because its high point was thought to be 2.4 m; however, it was recently found that the ironically named Mount Villingili -- which doubles as the tee box of the eighth hole on the country's only golf course -- has an elevation of 5.1 m.
2b. (Medium-easy). This island country, which famously derived revenue from commercialization of its Internet domain name, may then be the country with the lowest high point -- thought to be 4.6 m, though the location is unnamed.
2c. (Medium-hard). The mainland country with the lowest high point is probably this country, the smallest mainland country on its continent, whose high point is the 53-meter "Red Rock".
