Man, perspective sucks
So I was thinking about this Galadriel Waters thing ..
My initial reaction was, predictably, "OMG THAT SKANK IS GETTING POOR INNOCENT CHILDREN TO DO ALL HER WRITING! SHE'S SO LAZY SHE DOESN'T EVEN BOTHER TO STEAL THEORIES ANY MORE!!".
Then I realised that there was a possibility that she wasn't me, and might even not have evil or self-centered intentions with respect of this contest. The amazing defensiveness of the administrators is something everyone would be used to by now, so that would hardly be a reasonable indicator of GW's intentions.
Finally after admitting that there was a not too small chance that she could be doing this more out of benevolence than greed I realised that the relentless campaign of loaded questions and irrational assumptions being bandied about left, right and center on the forums probably wouldn't be terribly fair on someone who stands to lose $20,000 simply to get these ungrateful children's theories in print.
But of course if she is a profiteering scummistress then she does in fact deserve that torrent of abuse.
Perspectives suck. How the hell am I supposed to know who to believe?

On an unrelated note, I'm entering the contest. Tee hee, since I'm not technically banned I can >:)
In fact, looking at the rules that were posted I'd say that there's no exclusion on banned people at all. hesdead, what do you say to a joint venture?
