Spoilers under cut, beware!
Dumbledore: I was sad. I felt like throwing the book across the room, but I had to finish the chapter, so I didn't. I totally didn't think Snape was going to do it. But I always knew he was shifty. Too many times he was involved in the things that went on.
Malfoy: Oh come on people, we knew his father was gonig to sign him up to be a Death Eater as soon as he was born. I did anyway. But I thought he was going to take Dumbledore's offer. He can't be completely evil, he is only 16.
Hermione/Ron: I was so happy. I never really liked the Harry/Hermione ship to begin with. And I know in school boys fight and tease the girl they like, just like Ron did. *squeals*
Harry/Ginny: I did think she'd gotten over him. I'll admit, I was surprised when he figured out he liked her. But it was sad at the end where he left her because he was afraid she would get hurt. Very angsty. But then, it wouldn't be Harry Potter without some angst. I was hoping she'd say that she didn't care and go along with him anyway, but alas, it was not so.
Remus/Tonks: Woot! You go werewolf lovers!
R.A.B: Did anyone else realize that it was Regulus Black? Oh, I can't wait to hear how she's going to explain this one!
The Half-Blood Prince: Was anyone expecting Snape? Be honest with me now. I figured it was Riddle, he was at school around then. It did say the book was fifty years old, didn't it? Or was I just imagining things? Oh well, not that it matter nows.
Really, it was a good book. I wanted it to be longer at first, but once I read it I realized it was a perfect length. It would have been too drawn out otherwise. I'm gonig to re-read it and probably post some more stuff I think of while I do.
Feel free to hold a discussion about what you think!
