Alex glared at the screen, his eyes watering. He wanted to throw something at his laptop. He was in a foul mood, and everyone was annoying him. He had snapped at Jason for telling him a joke - a joke on any other day would have made him laugh till he cried - He had screamed at Andrew for jumping on the bed next to him, despite the fact that he jumped on his bed every day. He didn't know what had put him in this mood; he knew that he needed to shake it off before he lost the friends he desperately needed. He pressed play, and a random song started to play. He felt his eyes water, and he pressed skip, another song, more tears. He pressed stop and shut his Itunes down completely and curled into a ball o his bed. He stared at the bed next to him and sighed. Empty. Michael was out. He shook his head, tears falling onto his pillow. Wasn't they supposed to be out together? He felt empty and alone without him in the same room as him. He knew that he was out with his friend and he let the jealous feeling wash over him.
The bedroom door opened and Michael sauntered in. “Lexxie, what's wrong?” Alex wanted to scream at him. It was his fault he was in such a bad mood. His fault he and Andrew had got into a fight, and his fault that Jason was mad at him. But he didn't. Instead he just shook his head and allowed Michael to wrap his strong arms around him. “Whatever it is, you know I'm here.” Michael whispered sweetly. Alex nodded, though he didn't know he was here. He could feel him slipping away and it scared him. Michael pulled him in his arms and they lay together on the bed. Alex sighed; allowed himself to be held, because he knew soon that Michael would have someone else in his arms And everything else was going to change.
