Jack followed the sound, brow furrowed, as it degenerated into giggles. He went into a sub-office, raised an eyebrow, for once speechless.

Gwen and Tosh stood over a desk with their backs to him over a baby carrier. In it sat a baby that from a distance could pass for human, until the long purple tongue whipped out to eat anything within reach anyway.

He turned, shaking his head, to walk away and leave them to it. "Oh, ladies, I was thinking Thomas for our young man!"
