For some reason that Alanis Morrisette song is playing through my head. I don't know exactly why, it just is...
I am sooooooooo bored here. I mean I was bored at school alot too, but this is different. So maybe I'm just a boring person. I don't know.
I saw the play at Reavis Thursday night. 'A Piece of My Heart' - all about the experiences of women nurses in Vietnam during the Vietnamese Civil war that we took part in. It was really good, and I've been told that I saw the crappy night (when compared to the other performances). It was really good. I was only there for a few minutes afterward, and it was a little weird. I mean I talked to a few people that were just around. I am sad that I did not get to talk to Lauren. She was really good on stage. I saw her when the play was over down in front by the stage; we made eye contact, and I was hoping she would come and say hi, so I could tell her how awesome she did. Alas, she did not and then she kinda got swarmed by the fans and teachers and other cast members and squirrels. Lauren if by some chance you stumble across this in your internet wanderings, you were awesome. All the ladies were, but I've never really talked to them, so you get all the love. Awesome.
Life update: Me and Ashley broke up, but we are trying to do the friends thing. First on the list of friend things - We are going to a wedding that I agreed to go to when we were dating next weekend. Fun times. I told her I would go, so I can't back out and I wouldn't... but I really kinda want to.
I am working at the Park District, cutting grass and whatnot. It is spectacular. I am doing real work, my hands are sore, and my back is screwed up, and I am workin on a freaky farmer tan.. but it is wonderful... This is so much better than stupid school work. Yeah.. fuck the Capital Scholars. I need to stop by Reavis to make sure that the counselors discourage other students from making the mistake of going there. Well, this is the start of summer. I hope it stays decent, and gets better...
