Alright, so I'm a headin to Arkansas with my daddy tonight. We'll be home around sunday evening. I expect to have five days filled with fishing, golfing, the occasional awkward silence.
We are going down to play on my parents' property. They bought it a few years ago, and will probably be moving there in like two years. We are gonna be staying at Rocking Chair Ranch Resort in Mountain Home, Arkansas on the beautiful Lake Northfork. We'll be cutting down and logging some trees on our property... yahoo. I am not being at sarcastic when I say that I find work like that to be incredibly satisfying. It's nice to ba able to look and see something that you have accomplished. Its good to work hard at something, physically.
I am for some reason scared of spending that much time with just me and my dad. I don't know why. This is not the main reason, but I am also scared he is going to want me to drink with him at some point. And that would be weird. I don't even drink with my friends... I'll have like no tolerance and it would be awkward as hell.
I don't know what else I have to say. I am going to go to the Park District soon to check if I have a job next week. I hope the answer is yes. I really want to get back to work there. Cutting grass and whatnot... again- its just so satisfying. I am going to go though, cause I have some errands to run which include picking up Johnny Cash's last CD 'The Man Comes Around' W00T!
