This type of behaviour is almost frightening.

As most know, the "Special Topics in Religion: Intelligent Design, Creationism and Other Religious Mythologies" class at Kansas University was cancelled, not due to lack of interest, but more due to the strong agression displayed by those that did not condone the message presented by class creator, professor Paul Mirecki.

The next chapter of this story involves an "alleged" beating of the professor by a couple of "concerned Christians". Now, whether or not this happened, could be the weak link in my entry, but I've been around too many "True Believers" to pass it off as a hoax, just yet.

With the passing fad of the WWJD bracelets, I had hoped that more and more people (Christian or otherwise) would actually live by the rules with which they attempt to constrain the rest of society. If it wasn't so depressing, I'd chuckle when I watch the Sunday Morning Christians leaving the church parking lot. Honking, screaming, and barrelling their way to the street.

But, to let all know that there are no hard feelings, I will admit that I truly respect those that have found something/someone for whom to live and allow that to enrich their life and all the other lives they touch.
