When Initiative 901 takes effect Thursday, cigarettes will have to be snuffed out in all bars, public places and card rooms in Washington State.
There are no exceptions in the nation's strictest statewide ban, aside from Indian casinos, because they aren't subject to state law.
This ban applies to all venues, even those that specialize in cigars, cigarettes, and pipes.
So, my condolences to the state that destroyed the Heavy Metal music movement with such 5 chord bands as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and others, as it looks like they will be destroying a way of life for many.
