So studious
So I should have spent all day today reading and writing and otherwise being a good student. Instead, I was online all day buying books. Mind you, this was prompted by my scholarly reading, however, after I found the scholarly books necessary for all good language teachers(as prescribed by the textbook I was reading) I saw books about cats, then books about Harry Potter, and then I tried to get the best price by using 2 different sites with different deals in shipping, and that lasted a while. I kept getting phone calls, which prompted me to make more calls to prepare for a party I was reminded about. Then I needed to get a recipe for food online, and none were satisfactory, so I called the friend who had made delicious layer dip and asked for her recipe...and the distractions went on and on and on.
Sage didn't help when she laid fully across my book whenever I did sit down and try to read. I think next time I decide to study, I'll have to take myself away from my dear, darling kitty. She's almost too cute to ignore. And definitely too cute to choose studying over her. Whoops.
NOW, however, I am off to study...or at least until Shane gets home and we go climbing and out to eat. Hehehe.
P.S. Because I applied for the Amazon credit card, I got a special discount of $30, so I got about $70 worth of books(one had to be imported from Argentina...but I've been wanting to buy it ever since I lived in Argentina) for only $40. Yeah!
