Mostly a work update.

Andrew from work: Are you in choir?
Me: I was for a long time, why are you in a choir?
Andrew: No, I just like to think I can sing, and I like the way you sing.
Up until this point I thought this particular co-worker disliked me, so that made me feel a lot better for multiple reasons.

I also had a shitty day at work so that comment was a good way to end it. I had tried to sell *three* maxassurance things, and they were all accepted, and then returned by the customers. I only sold one for six dollars. I was also told that apparently, you can sell max's for anything that is labeled furniture, or runs on electricity. I was originally trained to wait for a box to pop up on the screen, and then select it if the customer wished to buy the maxassurance. However, not all products are coded into the system for the box to pop up at the register. So, while trying to sell credit card applications (I signed three accounts up) I had to retrain myself to ask everytime and which was hard since I've been doing it wrong for a whole year.
I really hate my old managers. They never trained me right, and now my new managers probably think I'm absolutely inept. At least Jennifer (the only manager that was around when I was hired, although she wasn't responsible for hiring or training me, since she was a "supervisor" at the time) reassured me the other day by saying she appreciated how hard I work, and that no other associates work as hard, they just play dumb and let other people take up the slack.
I still have no true idea where I stand with the other managers. I think Abe really doesn't care/treats everyone equally, but I think Matt really looks down on me and I'm not sure if it's my age/sex(or gender)/capabilities (or some combination) that "bothers" him.

I got up early today so I could do yoga. I'm out of shape :(

And that was my day. I literally did nothing more than do yoga, watch some tv/go online, get ready for work, walk to work and then work. I guess that makes sense since it was an eight nine hour shift.

officemax, vent, work, yoga
