Run To The Hills (or, Bang Your Head!)
This past week has been too good to be interesting. No crazy adventures and camping out in the rain in Beaverton until hitchhiking home, or wandering downtown at night drunk and ending up having a conversation with a homeless, HIV positive meth addict. No, just work. Work that's going well and just might be permanent instead of just another in a string of temp jobs with periods of being workless and being broke in between them. Work with cool people in a laid back atmosphere. Work that's giving me experience in an a skill, in this case.
Meeting a girl, that too. A funny girl, a pretty girl, a smart girl. Who mostly likes things I like and all. Had a good night with her and I hope we'll have some good times in the future...meeting people off the internet normally has led to some bad times or at least some mediocre times.
It's funny too...I always read my horoscopes and I either go "What the fuck does that mean?" or "That's bullshit". But the past few days I read them at night and my day matches up nicely with what they say. And, you know...newspaper horoscopes are always glowing and positive. I guess I don't mind too much that things are going well right now. I mean, good things and bad things alike will pass in their time, but I'm glad the good things are here now.
