Hello to the world (not that most of the world is reading this...)
So... this is my first entry. I have to admit that I have no idea what to say--it seems very weird writing a journal entry for anyone and everyone to read, but I'll try because some people have told me that I should actually write in my LJ. It'll be an experiment. So I got a new user name just for the occasion and started writing. It would be much easier if I knew what to talk about.
Let's see, yesterday I was babysitting from 12:30 till 3:30. It was very interesting, yes, playing Sock-em Bop-em (something like that) Robots with the six-year-old for nearly an hour... If you haven't seen them (I hadn't heard of them until yesterday), Sock-em Bob-em Robots (if that's actually what they're called) are little plastic robots in a boxing cage thing. When you push a button, the arm punches out. The goal is to knock the other robots head off. OK, I'm making it sound boring (and that part was) but I actually had fun, I (usually) like babysitting. We went over to school on our bikes, which was also a new experience. Why? Because I had to ride the kids' mom's bike, because it had a Co-Pilot in the back. A Co-Pilot is like a little-kid-bike addition to the back of a normal-sized bike. It makes the bike very tippy and I was terrified that I was going to fall over and dump poor six-year-old Ian onto the sidewalk. Luckily it didn't happen.
Wow, I'm amazed that I found enough to write that it would make a whole paragraph. So what am I doing today? Not sure. My mom, brother and I are maybe going to the zoo--I haven't been to the zoo in at least two or three years. But we want to see the baby moose that's supposed to be there. Not sure if we'll actually go, I suppose it depends on the weather.
Now, for someone who didn't think they had anything at all to write about, I think I've written plenty. So good-bye, and I'll try to keep updating this.
