The Nightly Noir
Hey howdy hey everybody,
The past week has been mega hella wicked frustrating. I find myself lusting for weekends (which aren't that relaxing due to the fact that there is always homework to be done). Between work and school I find myself spread thin again. The only problem is I can't seem to find a way to not apply myself too much. I've got work cooking three nights a week that runs into the wee small hours of the morning plus I'm in class with lots of mega hella reading.
Saw Ratatouille, it was awesome. I highly recomend it for those of you enjoyed The Incredibles, and those who didn't. I advocate it most earnestly.
So I'm taking speech right. Guess what? For a class that is all about the bettering of communication in the world, I find myself frustrated at the fact that the teachers aren't communicating a damn thing. Two and a half hours of lecture today and not a single usable piece of information. The teachers frustrate me to a point of having to clench my fists and take deep breathes. Ah the hipocracy that is required courses.
Also taking history of the American West. Freaking awesome. I get to learn about the federal government and how they just took over the continent. We truly are an amazing country.
Other than this I've found myself into Film Noir again lately. I have to restrain myself from going on an absolute DVD binge. Money is tight and it makes me sad to think that some of the best films in the world are not accessible because of cash flow issues. I can't wait to have a cool job that affords me a DVD a fund for mass amounts of weekly purchases.
Okay that's enough LJ ranting for me tonight.
