I need recommendations for happy and/or optimistic musicI just don't get into depressing or pissed-off music the way I used to. I can't remember the last time I didn't skip past Soundgarden or Stone Temple Pilots when they came up on my iPod. Some energetic groups that I enjoy include:
T.A.T.U (very fast-paced)
T.M. Revolution (speedy J-Rock, did "Heart of Sword" for Rurouni Kenshin if you're familiar with that one)
Avalon (Christian influence)
They Might Be Giants ("Istanbul Istanbul ISTANBUL!")

Also try out Pandora for more ideas. (You can even make a separate station off of STP for when you get back in the mood.

Wow. Very few things get me in a reflective, depressing mood quicker than JEW's Clarity.

Let's see. Upbeat and optimistic? You can't beat Mates of State. I have no idea if you would like their style, though.
