TRA LA LA, TRA LA LA
I need recommendations for happy and/or optimistic music.
I just don't get into depressing or pissed-off music the way I used to. I can't remember the last time I didn't skip past Soundgarden or Stone Temple Pilots when they came up on my iPod. Any Counting Crows song that isn't upbeat or fun is virtually lost on me these days (though This Desert Life is still in my top 5 favorite albums of all time).
Here's what I HAVE been listening to lately:
U2, of course
Angels and Airwaves (not particularly amazing, but mostly fun)
Jimmy Eat World (mainly Futures, but also the occasional track from Bleed American or Clarity)
Hitoshi Sakimoto
The usual stuff... Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Five Iron Frenzy, Sugar Ray, etc.
