At lunchtime I bought Season 1 of Mad Men.

I can't wait to have the time to actually sit down and watch the DVD's!

So they've cancelled The Golden Globes award show.

Good.

Now maybe some serious negotiating will take place.

There's plenty of money in the new digital technology for all of them to share.

I watched NCIS (of course!), so did Husband. I liked it. I thought it was much more subtle than DPB's bludgeoning us with plot.

We then watched the first episode of Reaper. It was mildly amusing. If not for the main character's slacker best friend "Socks", I don't think it would have been as good as it was. The Devil was good too. I liked ( Read more... )

So I'm waiting for the start of NCIS Season 5, and I had a thought about what they might do with this first episode. This is my complete speculative thought, no insider information.

For any number of reasons, I always feel pretty relaxed after Sunday morning church. Not the least of which is greeting friends. This usually involves hugs.

Hugs are good for the soul.

So I had a stomach flu all weekend. Not so good a Mother's Day for any of us. Husband has given me a raincheck.

I'm only here at work until I get a brief mailed off, then I'm headed home.
