What the hell happened to September?!?

I've been so insanely busy this whole month just flew by.

Son is starting to seriously eye Halloween costumes. This will probably be his last year for trick or treating.

I have to be at Son's school at 2:30 today for the Halloween parade. Then we're off trick-or-treating with his friend Anthony and family.

Son is a "Ninja Lord". He's been so excited about the costume he's put it on several times since we bought it a couple of weeks ago.

Wow the weather really sucks today. 1"-3" of rain before tonight, and the wind is steady at 25 - 30 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph.

Monday is Husband's birthday, so tonight is his birthday dinner, at his favorite prime rib place of course. He's nothing if not predictable about this. At least we know the food is good there.

We spent the holiday off-Cape in Hudson, visiting a farm for apple picking. The day was absoutely gorgeous. It was sunny and in the mid-70's. We won't have too many (if any) days like this for much longer. We had a hayride, and Son and Husband were busily picking apples together. Husband would spot and Son would gather them.

A perfect family
