SUMMARY: Aki hates her powers hates her cards blew stuff up again poppycock and goshdarnit wants to give Lyra her duel deck for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON INVOLVING ANGER OVER HER POWERS. Yes. It's COMPLETELY ALTRUISTIC. So she goes to Awesome Base to do that and actually do something other than angst rage attack people being by herself!

Well, here she is. Awesome Base. She clasps her cards in her pocket as she goes to knock on the door. She wondered what Lyra would do with the cards once she had them. She wondered, also, what she'd do without them. Aside from be normal and accepted and...and...
She was going to miss her cards. No, no she wasn't. If the spirits of her cards were speaking to her to not do this, to not abandon them, she was ignoring them. After the argument she had with them yesterday, she resolved she'd never listen to them again. They weren't her friends, after all, if they were angry with her because of her powers - which she didn't have before she had gotten them. No, she decided, they were stupid, bad cards! And if she did decide to play Duel Monsters again - she totally wasn't going to, at least in her six-year-old mind - she'd just make a better deck so she wouldn't hurt people anymore. And then everyone would be happy with her. And her dad would like her again. Problem solved! So she thought.
Quietly she knocks on the front door, thinking how life would instantly be better once the cards were out of her hands. Because surely it would get better.
