More important things to do that would help people. That thing Dick can't exactly do right now.
Dick doesn't look like he's doing fine. At the moment, his pride is more hurt than anything else, at least. He'll be fine. He sighs and looks up at Tim, shrugging.]
Okay. Could be worse.

They all would, really.
He comes over to sit next to Dick, offering over the DS.]
Could be better, too, huh? I figured you might be getting bored.

[He's sounding a bit tired -- just like anyone who is recovering from anything. It's not real sleepiness, it's just his body shutting down a little to help him get better.
He certainly doesn't feel like sleeping.
He smiles a little, although it looks slightly forced.] Thanks. What games? [He pauses.] I'd half be expecting Pokémon but -- the games don't exist anymore, uh.

Actually, Nintendo decided to make a replacement for it. They had to make some changes - it's called Boxemon, for Box Monsters, because you keep the monsters in boxes instead of balls now. [He shrugs, OH JAPAN. But really this was Sophie's idea.] There's that, Trauma Center, and Puzzle Quest.

And Tim shouldn't talk (think) about this: he was the one who had to be convinced to go get his spleen back!]
Wait, wait.
There is a replacement of Pokémon, it looks like Pokémon, and you bought this thing? [He can help a more honest smile from spreading on his lips.] Are all the designs the same?
Reply
And come on, it was just his spleen. Besides, that'll be all kinds of weird when he goes back home and forgets that he had it healed back.]
I... did end up buying it, yeah. [Not that he's a huge geek or anything oh wait. Dick should just be glad that he didn't end up with a Dungeons and Dragons game.]
I'm pretty sure they had to redesign them, but they stuck fairly close to the original designs in most cases. I mean, not that I've seen them all, I haven't played it that much.

You haven't been playing much but you're lending it to me? [He smirks.] I feel special. [He puts the DS and the games on a small table by the bed and shifts a little in the bed.]
It's not as if you didn't have money to spare. No one's gonna talk about you buying DS games when the number of cars and bikes in here keeps going up.

Just don't overwrite my saved game. [Of like... a million hours. It's not much for a geek.]
And hey, most of those vehicles are totally necessary. We need back-ups for the ones that crash. ... And it's not like collecting cars is a bad hobby.
Reply
I never said having a million cars was bad. [He raises a hand in the air in a 'not me! not me!' gesture.] The bikes are really awesome and I'm not complaining.
Just... you know. Saying that the game may be a waste of money a bit more, but who's going to care when so much money goes into other stuff.
[He's not sure he's making sense. He has to concentrate more than usual to make the sentences come out, actually, but he's not going to show it. He wouldn't go patrol tonight, but he wants out of the Tower soon.]
