Once Jack Bauer was being tortured. He didn't say a single word.

Apr 23, 2010 18:40

WHO: Jack Bauer and Sarah Connor
WHERE: The place Sarah waitresses at.
WHEN: The following takes place between 2PM and 3PM. Events occur in real time.
WARNINGS: None, unless they wind up in another standoff. Can't discount the possibility.
SUMMARY: Still pissed about any number of things, Jack returns to Sarah's diner for coffee and angst. Coffangst.
FORMAT: Whatever works.

Jack wasn't sure why he'd come to this particular diner for afternoon coffee, considering that the last time he was here things came close to erupting into a gunfight. Maybe it was the coffee. Or maybe it was because his intuition told him that the waitress who would have been on the other side of the gunfight might understand what he was feeling better than most in the City. He didn't want a therapist or a shoulder to cry on. Jack Bauer had a lot of practice dealing with things on his own. But he also had a lot of practice following his intuition.

He slid into a booth near the door, took off his sunglasses, and waited for someone to take his order.
