Xena didn't mind the extra wait, honestly, as it gave her time to clear her head a little in regards to the situation with Sentinel. Either she was going to stab the man or quit, quite possibly both, and in no particular order. He was maddening and a night out for drinks with a new acquaintance was just what she needed, really.

Especially a handsome acquaintance with a penchant for leather armor and swords. They'd have quite a bit to talk about, at least.

When she noticed the leather-clad man approaching, she pushed off the wall where she'd been leaning and waved.

"Hello, Geddoe. Nice to meet you in person."

Geddoe's brow twitched upon seeing Xena's full figure, even as he placed the face and voice from the device. Her style of armor seemed vaguely familiar, and there was a blade at her side as well. This tavern party suddenly got a lot more interesting.

He nodded once as he came up to her. "Xena. I see we may have more in common than I expected." He stood by with his arms loose and relaxed at his sides, in the swordsman's nonverbal gesture of truce and trust. "Well. Lead the way, then. The beer had better be good."

The sword was actually on her back, with the hilt peeking over her right shoulder, for easy access and better balance, in accordance with her fighting style. The chakram was on her hip, something which was a bit unusual these days. Working at the prison, she left everything but the sword at home, and didn't get out as much as she'd like. She'd put it all on again, just for him.

Her posture was the same, relaxed and easy. She extended a hand to clasp his forearm in a typical warrior's greeting.

"That's what caught my eye about your post, actually. The beer's good, cheap, and the bartenders are used to me carrying a sword around, so they don't give me any trouble."

"All right, then. Let's see it." He extended a hand to suggest she show him the way, falling into step beside her. That way, he could observe her through his good eye and learn more about her without having to ask anything. He did, however, offer one brief leading comment. "You've been here a while, then."
