Though the days were getting longer, the sun still set early enough for nightlife to come out appropriately at night. Geddoe was further from the MAC building than he thought, so the hike back took a little more than an hour, but there he was, striding confidently up the sidewalk in his black and gray leather, Wild Geese comfortably at his hip. His stoic demeanor hid just how tired he was after testing his lightning runes. The location he had found gave him plenty of room and little to no civilian attention, so he had not only tested to see if his lightning runes worked, period, he actually attempted to use the True Lightning Rune. Not it's highest spell; he didn't need to overdo it on the first try. But he had managed to cast a Thunderstorm spell, and that satisfied him.
Now, he needed a drink, or five, and to sit and nurse his thoughts. The woman who had offered to show him around was waiting for him, and Geddoe was not in the habit of standing anyone up. Certainly not if they were going to guide him to the best places to have a beer.
