It's not like she was going off and fighting supervillains or going to the jail to visit Grell or trying to meet up with more new imPorts to let them take advantage of her all over again. She just needed to get outside for a while for a bit of a fly. A very fast fly, way up high where it was safe and things couldn't get her.
When the sky started turning pink, that's when she decided to rest, circling a nearby cathedral a couple of times (beautiful!) before finding a decent, gargoyle-free ledge to land and sit upon. Megan's knees tucked up in front of her and she hugged them, intent on watching the west sky slowly change its colors.

So when something much too large and pink to be a bird flickered in the corner of his eye, he took notice. He looked to the side, but it had already gone; the sound of shoes on stone, however, led him to look up. His eyes widened.
"The hell?"

"Who's that? Who's there!" She looked around wildly, but there were ledges and towers and gargoyles and spires and nooks... whoever it was, they had at least a dozen potential hiding places on that building! "Come on out, then! I'm not afraid of you!"
She was very afraid. She'd seen how far Grell could jump.

For the briefest of moments he felt smug at having managed to inspire fear in someone else for the first time since leaving Japan, before the real terror in her voice registered and he frowned instead. It took a few moments to pick apart what she'd said for the most part - his English still sucked.
"Over here," he replied in the same language, then muttered in Japanese, "relax. Ka."

"Sihal Novarum Chinoth!" She said, and dissappeared in a flash of pink light only to reappear behind him on his other side, only a few feet away, "Who are you? What're you doing sneaking around all invisible and spying on young girls then, eh? What are you on about?"

Hey, a guy needed to defend himself against something that... pink and sparkly and... girly. Or something. He was really just reacting. She had wings. Rui turned around to see that she'd appeared on his other side, speaking far too fast for him to comprehend. His eyes went wide, but he managed to glare at the same time.
"Shut up!" Why did all girls talk so much?!

"Put. The knife. Away," she warned him, slowly this time, "Or you'll be sorry."

"Happy now?" he groused in Japanese, even though she wouldn't be able to understand him, then he spotted the communicator in her hand. Definitely one of the imPorted weirdos then. As if the hair hadn't given it away. Rui pointed at the device.
"You--" He paused, not even knowing what to say, let alone how to phrase it in English. He tried one of the first phrases they taught after 'where is the bathroom' and 'my name is'. "Who are you?"

He didn't seem to speak English very well, so Megan just pointed to herself and said, "Pixie. Who are you?"
Reply
"Habashira," he said, then pointed at her again and raised an eyebrow at the strangeness of the name even as he said it. "Pi-ku-si?"
Reply
"Close enough," she said, then tried her hand with his name, "Ha-ba-shee-rah."
Reply
"Ka," he said, then in English, "My English is better than your Japanese."
Reply
"Prove it then," she said, fluttering up a little higher so she could look down on Habashira, "Why are you on the wall?"
Reply
"Training," he said, and then the smirk was back. Concentrating on the ability he'd stopped using earlier, his body began to seemingly disappear, starting from his legs and creeping upwards.

She briefly considered dusting him, since it was hard to stay invisible when you're coated in a layer of pink sparkles. But this high up, that could turn out very badly if he started to hallucinate. Instead she gingerly reached her hand forward, and tried to poke the place where his body had been.

"Learning to... change," he said, unable to think of the right word. He motioned towards her and her insect-like wings. "You got some, too."
