He was very rarely nervous. Even now, as Grell moved back and forth to set set the scene, Tyki sat outside on the guardrail of the mostly-finished veranda, idly smoking a cigarette in the quickly-cooling New York air. He fully expected tonight to go as planned, with very little interruptions from either the world at large or Grell himself -- who he had explicitly told to be careful with an implicit threat of violence if he was not -- to muck up the evening.
Grell, surprisingly, was rather professional about everything once he really got to work, setting and cleaning the area with gusto. He'd have to reward him with a break later; that was, if the man took it, of course. If not, maybe he'd simply drop an extra couple hundred of dollars into his paycheck. He'd have to do something. It wouldn't be right, otherwise.
Leaning back, he let one of the Tease that had taken to roaming about the compound rest on his raised knee, gentling the thing with a finger. Hopefully, Monet wouldn't ask too many questions about that.
