From the sidelines, a middle-aged, white-haired woman watched as the alarm bells rung Although she seemed to be any old gawker simply straggling behind at the crime scene, her eyes, fixed to the thief, were unmoving and unblinking. She adjusted the straps of the Mirror strapped to her back, focusing intently on the bag of diamonds.

Just her luck that the theft would occur on a cloudy day, when it took longer for her to fight as wolf and not woman.

A thin line of fire stretched towards the cloth, attempting to eat at it.

It's okay, I should have explained it better. canbleadernow October 6 2009, 04:36:02 UTC
Karla saw the bit of fire coming at her just in time to instinctively go intangible and dodge out of the way. Snapping her head in the direction of the blast, she tried to discover where it had come from.

The only person she saw was a middle aged woman. Well, it's not like it mattered that wasn't who shot at her. Raising her hand, she fired a laser like blast of gravity at the woman.

However, as menacing as the blast looked, the woman stood still. Although the blast hit her full on, a thick tree springing instantly out of the ground blocked her from being knocked into anything else. She was sturdier than she looked, with a small bruise to the side from the attack.

Overhead, the clouds shifted. Just a little longer, Amaterasu thought. It was difficult when one didn't control the sun and moon in this world, but she could wait around if needed.

She refocused her Brush and aimed an invisible cut at the bag.

Now that was just irritating. The woman was making herself a problem and didn't even have the decency to die or get injured enough to stop.

When the bag she was carrying got cut open though and the diamonds fell out of the sky, that really pissed Karla off.

"You know, I was just going to leave it at the blast and go," he said, slowly descending down to the ground. "But now you've gone and pissed me off."

With that, she picked up a car and threw it at the woman.

Another slice sent the car flying to the side, and within minutes, the cut to the metal was already regenerating. Amaterasu hated to leave damage on things, unless they needed a sound beating to be prevented from stealing, or throwing cars at her.

As she watched the clouds uncover the sun, she thought about a possible course of action. Killing the woman wouldn't do, as her actions were thievery and she was no demon, this Ammy could tell.

What to do with a human criminal. Hm. Even after spending so long in the City, she could never really reach a conclusion.

Well that was just plain annoying, tossing aside the car like that. The fact that the cut was repaired though, that was both interesting and a little bit frightening. A form of matter manipulation or magic?

"Well you're just a meddling bitch, aren't you?" she sneered.

"Yes," was the only word, quiet and dry, from the middle-aged woman's lips.

At that moment, the sun emerged. As the crowd had mostly scattered at the robbery, Amaterasu felt little need to really hide. As the sun's first rays hit her skin, her eyes, focused, became narrower and her face pointed into the snout of a large, white wolf.

Its legs were bent into a fighting stance as it watched Karla for any further attacks.

"If that's supposed to impress me, it doesn't," she said, crossing her arms over her chest. It was only a little lie, turning into a giant, fearsome wolf was somewhat impressive, but she'd fought dragons before. Not that she could brag about that in her current guise.
