"As far as we knew there was nothing on that planet. All we could see was bare landscape and this rather pretty material. That later turned out to not be as pretty as I'd thought."

She stopped to eat a few more fries before continuing.

"We walked along and not far from where we'd landed the ground gave out. The three of us fell into a cave deep beneath the surface. While below we were ambushed by very large spiders. The largest of them was larger than us. Uh, as we were then, not now.

Anyway, we managed to fight one off but then more came from the shadows. We had no choice but to run. Sentinel held them off while Optimus and I fled. I ended up separated from the both of them.

Eventually I met up with Optimus in the warship. Turned out Sentinel had been right. The ship was filled with energon, but it was the nest for the spiders. Once again we were attacked. Optimus and I used the energon to aid in our escape, using it to blast a hole in the cave ceiling."

She paused again, she hadn't explained her abilities to him so this next part could be confusing for him to understand. She thought for a moment about how to go about continuing her story then decided to just keep going. If he had questions he'd ask them.

"I downloaded from Optimus so I could use his grappling hook and we made our way toward the hole we'd made. Unfortunately a little over halfway out my power timed out and I fell. Optimus was unable to catch me."

Another pause, because this was the worst part of it. Remembering it always brought back the pain.

"I fell...right back into the exploding ship. I was attacked by the spiders. I...tried the only thing I thought could save me. I didn't know if it'd work because as far as I knew my power didn't work on organics. Apparently it did. Using my ability permanently mutated me. I became a freak. A mixture of Cybertronian and giant organic spider. And...obviously I was alive. Left down there. Left by two others who I thought to be my friends."

By the end of her story she realized she wasn't as angry at the two for never coming back as she had been. Sure, she was still angry with them but it wasn't the blinding hatred she had felt for so many years.

He somehow didn't stare with his mouth open by the end of it. It didn't really seem like something that could happen let alone by those with Prime titles, then again his world, the war had made it hard to even leave behind when ordered with their numbers being slowly destroyed as they were.

"They did not at least come back to make certain? Even if they believed you to be dead, why was no one told so those who did have a the means to look could have. It..."

There was just a slight flapping of hands in lieu of the normal agitated wing movements due to body shift. Sure there had been incidents with the dinobots and stories of the aerialbots defecting at one point, but Sky Lynx wasn't there for the aerialbots, and the dinobots' behavior you had to take in stride and remember their might chooses who leads mentality.

"Even with the organic merging...that is no excuse to leave a comrade behind."

He was not a scientist so that bit had made little sense to him, but it wasn't really the important part at the moment.

"They thought I was offline and they never came back to make sure. They just left. I didn't see Optimus again until nearly a thousand stellar cycles later when he'd been promoted to Prime. And I didn't see Sentinel again until he arrived here as a human. And it is obvious they told others, the higher ups. Most likely Ultra Magnus himself. But even he wouldn't send anyone for me.

So, some Autobot code." Although her voice didn't carry the same venom it once would have.

She watched him for moment before turning her attention to the cheese fries.

Despite his boasting and such, Sky Lynx was more of the battle action, and not in the comforting of others. That didn't stop him though for feeling ire for the femme and what they had done to her when they apparently could have helped her.

"They, that's just not in any way the right course of action when dealing with a close comrade at arms. Even if they were following higher up orders, Ultra Magnus..."

He has to pause because thinking of an Ultra Magnus that was in the highest position of command, and not willing to help someone under his command or not, was still a bit odd to his processors.

"Ultra Magnus should have at least tried as befitting a leader. I should re-educate them about being an autobot."

She picked at the cheese fries for a little longer before looking up. She gave him a questioning look. "Re-educate them? And how do you plan to do that?"
