Blackarachnia certainly wasn’t wasting any time with this one. The newcomer hadn’t even been in the City an hour and she was already going to meet him at the bar. The same bar she often met with others.
Once again it was the same old thing, telling her story over a few drinks. Whether he drank or not she didn’t care. To top it off she wasn’t even sure why she’d agreed. Something about him was…endearing. Sure he had an ego that appeared to rival Sentinel’s but other than that she almost found him…cute.
So she took up her usual table at the back of the bar but in sight of the door and waited. She had no idea what he looked like but she kept her eyes on the door.
