No, they were not close. In fact, Wanda thought of him as just another hippie nut job needing to be disposed off on order by Nick Fury. Her brother made sure that Thor was done for with a little prompting from herself and they took credit as they usually did for their missions. But, now it was time to be civil. Bruce Banner was a mess and his girlfriend was a bitch, so who else could Wanda confide in, but the only other sane member of the Ultimates here?

She teleported in a flash of bright pink lights at Thor's address.

"Thor," she called out. If that is your real name, but she does not press further. She stepped lightly on to the sidewalk. Her red cloak billowed around her ankles.

"Wanda," he replied, with a small smile, when she appeared. He was a little surprised to see she came out here first, but he presumed that proximity made teleportation easier. "Or do you prefer your codename? I don't think I ever got the hang of those formalities." He held out his hand to shake hers, clearly happy to see a familiar face. It felt a bit strange to meet her here without Pietro skulking about - didn't she say that he was young here? He was somewhat curious to know if there was a falling out there. If all the rumors about the two had been--no, he didn't want to think about that.

"I am not surprised you found a location away from this city," he spoke, his smile turning into a grin. "I can't imagine being here for too long without going mad. How long have you been in this place?"

"Either is fine," she answered. In the Savage Land, her father insisted on their code names--their mutant names. So many of their old mutant culture still stuck in her mind from their ceremonies to the silly made up language she spoke so fluently. However, Wanda was a name that her brother would call her when they were out in the jungle in each others arms, away from the politics and family drama that took control of their lives.

Now it was all intertwined and nothing was sacred or special any more.

"A few weeks, give or take," Wanda waved vaguely over her shoulder. "I have not been keeping track closely, but I figured a castle away from this...destructive place would be best."

"A good idea," Thor agreed. "A city full of superheroes, with powers no less. How the buildings have not all been reduced to rubble is a miracle unto itself." He gave her his characteristic Thor grin, a genuine expression in the company of a teammate. Thor never quite knew what Wanda thought of him - she and Pietro were too often off in the background of their team's planning - but there was nothing about her he found distasteful. And if there was something gong on with her and Pietro... well, that wasn't his business. He was curious about him, however.

"Did I hear right that Pietro is here, in this world?" the thunder god could not help inquiring. "I'm told that he's... younger? Is that why you are not here with him?"
