What: Starscream got himself nearly killed; an odd side effect of his powers are that he can leave his body if he's knocked unconscious. Skyfire is probably not going to take his bullshit.
Where: Somewhere in California.
When: Monday night, Pacific time, ie: once Skyfire gets his aft over there and is all jetlagged (LOL JET)
Warnings: *edit* Surreal snogging. At least for now.

Falling
That's the last thing he remembers. The pain going way and his mind numbing. Disorientation. Uncertainty as to just which body he was in. The chirping of his suit's AI informing him that it was deploying its parachute.
Rising.
He wakes with a gasp, sitting straight up in shock. He feels wrong. Everything feels wrong, he can't feel, he can't -
"Primus," he swears.
His hands are translucent. And they're not quite human - right now, somewhere between Cybertronian and organic, a techno-organic fusion.
"Slag slag slag slag and oh fuck," he says, for once slipping into human slang, standing up, his legs going right through the bed. His eyes fall on the heart monitor.
"... wait, what?"
It's clear - his heart's still beating; he's still alive.
If I'm still alive then how...
He can't quite finish the thought; his attention is caught by another figure in the room.
"... Skyfire...?" he asks, looking puzzled.
