Summary: Maya somehow gets Jim to go out for burgers with her.

Maya was preparing to relish her victory. With actual relish. (Also mustard, ketchup, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce. All packed between two sesame buns and mouth-watering Grade A beef.)
She had managed to get Jim to go out for burgers with her! This was a momentous occasion, because he was pretty stubborn, and he hadn't wanted to. But she convinced him! And she'd get to meet him face-to-face! And maybe this way, he would actually cheer up. Plus she got to go out for burgers. That was always a plus.
She was already five minutes late by the time she left the office (mostly checking on Pearly and then getting distracted by some of the things Nick left lying around.), so she was walking as quickly as she could in her (somewhat impractical, admittedly) shoes. It was a little awkward, but she managed to make good pace.
As she neared the restaurant, she kept an eye out for any signs of him. "Jim?"
