WHO: Layla Miller, Nathan Summers/Cable, and Dick Grayson/Robin eventually.
WHERE: Random dumpster, random alley, random south side neighbourhood.
WHEN: May 6/Wednesday evening. Follow up to this log from Saturday.
WARNINGS: Nothing
SUMMARY: Layla's been dumped in a dumpster like trash, and without her powers Cable is able to pick up her psi-sig. Robin finds Cable finding Layla and they go from there.
FORMAT: Para.
"Ow."
Her voice felt foreign, ringing through her ears as if someone else had screamed her own words in her face. Layla's head was throbbing like someone was beating on it with a jackhammer, and it took her many moments just to be able to open her eyes. Everything was moving in front of her as though the world was spinning and blanketed in a fog. She knew not where she was, how she got there, or who she was with.
Layla Miller knew nothing.
Her powers were gone. Suddenly it felt as though she's been punched in the gut and had her head held underwater. It was a scary, mind-numbing feeling to have and it made her turn over and throw up. She felt sick, scared, and alone. She didn't even have her comm on her.
When Layla finished, she attempted to sit. It was then she realized she had been left in a mountain of garbage. Tossed away like trash. Then she was shaking; she trembled so hard she nearly got sick again, and her eyes watered. Tears rolled down her cheeks and she could barely even lift her hands high enough to grab the edge of the dumpster. She was both weak and powerless.
