[Midnighter was picking up half the store's stock of cleaning supplies. He's been at Jeroen's old place for two weeks, and he's finally getting tired of staring at all the surfaces he's really not sure are safe to touch.
Either way, he left his costume at home, because even he'd feel a little ridiculous wandering through the produce dressed head to toe in leather and a cowl. He is currently stooped over in one of the isles, wondering if it's worth it to buy pancake mix when he doesn't need to eat, and all it would do is sit there and remind him that his daughter isn't around.
He does kind of miss food, though.]
