[Max likes the roof. a) It's a good view of the city she thinks of as hers more and more. b) Less people, less noise, more time to think. She comes up here a lot at night, generally just to have a look at the city before she heads out for patrol.

Tonight is no exception, as she steps out onto the roof with her suit in her backpack. She wasn't really expecting anyone to be there, but she takes it in stride and heads over to her usual vantage point not far from him, sitting down and looking at him thoughtfully.]

Everything okay?

Well, to be fair, there's a few different kinds of drinking alone.

It's not a lie. [Strictly speaking, it isn't. She does a lot of city watching! ... sort of as a hobby?]

City watching is good for figuring stuff out. Contemplating and that sort of stuff, as it looks like you've figured out.
