WHO: Nill & pretty much anybody.
WHERE: Her church.
WHEN: Christmas Eve, ~9 P.M.
WARNINGS: None.
SUMMARY: There was a Christmas Eve mass thing at Nill's church last year, and she decided to provide refreshments and invite her friends this year.
FORMAT: Whatever! Go ahead and start your own threads, tag around, etc. Backtagging is okay and encouraged--I know how busy the holiday season is/going to be, so have at.
Candles are lit, some passages are marked, and the poinsettias are watered and sprinkled with a bit of glitter to make them shine. The sanctuary itself is immaculately clean, and every wooden pew is polished to nearly gleaming. The stained glass windows shine in the candlelight, throwing rainbows on the stone floor closest to the panes. Come in, take a seat, choose a hymn to sing or a few lines to read. Collection plates will be going around, with notes saying that any proceeds will go to a local orphanage, but it isn't necessary to donate. An hour is the time allotted for the service, but there's no time limit for refreshments afterwards. There are tables set out for treats and drinks, and people are welcome to bring their own.
