(
You can hear dear Mother Nature murmuring low, let yourself go! )
She had just slipped into her rather vintage-looking dress when she hears a knock on the door, and there's a slight curse, wondering if she didn't rush too much and looked the part. Her make-up was done, her hair neatly curled, but she still felt like she was only half ready.
Nevertheless, she preps herself with a dazzling smile, as though she hadn't been rushing through dress up minutes before, and she opens the door. "It's been so long since I've had a caller."
She's looking at him up and down, and she is certainly impressed by his attire and well, overall appearance. What a handsome man.

"Are you ready, or do you still need a few minutes yet?"

There's a slight smoothing of the dress, and while half of her does feel self-conscious simply due to the fact that she had rushed to get changed, the other half was feigned. All for show.
"Do I look ready? An' be honest, honey. None of that 'you look good' shit unless you really mean it."
Reply
"You look beautiful, Miss Jupiter," he replies, and it is entirely honest. "And I do really mean it."
Reply
"If I find out you're lying, this will be the last time I let you take me out." Her voice is playful and flirtatious however. "So, lead the way, hon."
Reply
"There's dinner at the club, if you're hungry," he adds, with a little smile. "And the car's a bit small, sorry, but it's at least safer with me driving than it would be with the Doctor."
Reply
It was nice having friendly physical contact. Brought her back to when she actually went out on a date or two.
"Oh, I don't mind small cars. They're much more cozier." Some more friendly flirtation, and again she smiles. "...The Doctor?"
Reply
"He was the one who threw the Fourth of July party with me, a while back."
Reply
She assumed it was because she just happened to run into more men who appreciate charming women such as herself.
"He sounds like quite a good friend."
Reply
"He is, but we're not --" A little pause. "I was a travelling companion of his, at home. We're roommates here, along with Ian."
Reply
She pats his leg, laughing at his pause. "I figured as much, hon. I know the difference between friends an' more, y'know."
It's her turn to pause, and her focus remains on him. "Did you travel often back where you're from?"
Reply
"Good. He's not interested in me like that, anyway," Jack replies, far too lightly.
But now's hardly the time for that, so he continues. "I did, yeah," he says, nodding. "With the Doctor for about -- three or four months, I guess? And all over the place before that."
Reply
"Wow! For that long?" She seems genuinely intrigued. "I did my fair share of travelin', but never for that long. Where'd you guys go?"
Reply
"Places you've probably never heard of. A planet called Raxicoricofallipatiorius, we went to Tokyo in the 1600s..."
Reply
Especially at the time travel...though again, having been brought from the 1950s to this entirely new century should render such an idea plausible.
"An' here I've always dreamed of going to France..." Another laugh. "Now that just sounds like a dull traveling idea compared to what you fellas go through with."
Reply
"Oh, I don't know, France has its' merits." He grins at her. "Paris is lovely, but less so during the Revolution. Maybe I'll take you there someday."
