The cake ended up not being very big; first of all, Andy had fridge space to consider, and his fridge was pretty standard-sized. Therefore, getting a fairly standard-sized cake seemed to make the most sense, particularly since it looked like there was only going to be just the three of them.
But it did look delicious, and that was the important part.
He picked up some margarita mix, some tequila, some gin, rum, vodka, and some juice soda, not knowing what the girls were going to be in the mood for and knowing he could probably mix up whatever (he worked at a bar, how hard could it be?) -- the most important part, really, was making sure everything would be all right for them. Andy was a people-pleaser, and he had two people to cheer up that had also never met each other. That was a lot of pressure. But he could handle pressure.
He put the cake out and turned on the blender, whistling to himself as he crushed ice.
