She was trying to make the best of things. Sure, Eugene wasn't around, and sure, she was on her own save for Pascal, but everyone was being so very nice. There was a lot of things that Rapunzel had never seen before, so obviously the best course of action was to learn all she could.

"We'll just make the best of it, Pascal," Rapunzel said, the chameleon nodding and perching on her shoulder. She was a little nervous, but also excited. Roller skating! It sounded fun.

She made her way out, hesitating behind the man sitting on the steps.

"Andy?"

Upon hearing her voice, Andy leapt to his feet, holding out his hand. "In the flesh. Pleasure's all yours. Hah, just kidding. The pleasure's all mine."

She looked younger than he had pictured, so he tried to keep his distance just a bit. Didn't want to create any misunderstandings or anything. He smiled, stepping on to the sidewalk.

"You ready to roll?" He plucked the skates off his shoulder, showing them off.

It was undeniable that Andy was... spirited, to say the least. Rapunzel liked that. When he offered his hand, she gave it a firm shake. She knew you were supposed to do that much at least.

"I am!" She replied enthusiastically, following after him and watching the skates with wide eyes. "Where can we... roll?"

"There's a skating rink I'm going to take you to. But first, I need to secure our cab." With a whisk of his hand he hopped over to the curb, gesturing flamboyantly toward traffic. Trying to hail a cab in New York (or not-New York) was way more difficult than it was in Pennsylvania, so he had to try a lot harder. One finally stopped for them when he took to waving both his arms around.

Smiling, he opened the door for her. "Your ride awaits. Taxi cab, pretty cool, huh? It'll take us right over."
