WHEN: Afternoon after school
WARNINGS: Probably none.
SUMMARY: Lily and Nico made plans to go and play video games for an afternoon
FORMAT: Starting in third, either is fine.

( Nothing like a nice wholesome afternoon of digital car races, shooter games, and brightly coloured graphics combined with bubblegum pop to lift one's spirits )

Lily liked science as well, but since several of the adults that she respected were scientists, some of it was just to gain a better understanding of their work. The hands on parts of it were interesting and she knew it was important to have a grasp of the background theory behind things. She was thinking of becoming a doctor when she grew up, even, though she still had to figure out what kind. Talking with Dr. Crane had prompted her give some thought to the question, though.

Her opinion of the Institute was more positive because she had yet to have a bad experience with people there. Lily honestly didn't understand why people were as troubled as they were by Nico's abilities. There was a certain unsettling aspect of his presence that he couldn't control as it was as much a part of him as his powers themselves. She had gotten used to it as much as one could, though. It helped that Lily was less afraid of dying than she was of losing control of herself and hurting people.

"It does," she agreed with a smile. "Let's go near where they're playing, so when they finish, we can make sure we get to play next."
