Cass still had a strange glow about her as she entered the living quarters of the tower. An unusually large smile graced her face, which seemed at odds with her tattered dress that seemed like it was about to fall apart at any moment. She walked barefoot down the hall toward her room, wondering if anyone was still awake.
But then she remembered who lived with her in the tower, and realized what a silly question that was.
